About the event
Join Jasmine Pema every other Sunday for an hour of Nejang, a special form of Tibetan Healing Yoga.
Nejang, can be loosely translated as "cleaning the energy sites of the body," a gentle Tibetan healing yoga practice stemming from the Kalachakra tantra. Originally compiled by the 12th century yogi Buntun Rinchen Drup, this profound yet accessible practice consists of 24 simple exercises utilizing unique methods of breath work, self-massage, and repetitive movements to clean the channels and awaken through the body to ones natural intelligence and vibrance. Although many Tibetan yogas are traditionally kept quite secret Nejang has been taught more openly by Tibetan doctors due to its simplicity and healing benefits. This practice has profound implications on not only physical health and vitality but for working with the subtle energy body and minds ability to touch into our true nature.
This practice is accessible for all bodies and levels of practice or experience and will be taught in accordance with all practice levels. Yoga mat & meditation cushion are recommended but not required.
