Maitri Khachöma Vajrayogini Empowerment in Memoriam of Tricia Le Meur

Join us on August 22nd for the first of two remembrances of Tricia Le Meur, this one being her birthday as we approach the one-year anniversary of her death.

As a remembrance we are pleased to announce that Lama Justin will confer the empowerment for the flying form of Vajrayogini known as Maitri Kachöma or Maitri Dakini. This lineage of Vajrayogini practice originated with the 11th century mahasiddha Maitripa who was a student of the great siddha Shavaripa and a teacher of the tibetan translator Marpa who brought the root tantras that for the Kagyu lineage from India to Tibet.

This empowerment is being sponsored by Chance Le Meur as a way of celebrating the life of Tricia Le Meur, who died last year, on August 30th. This empowerment is being offered as a way to celebrate Tricia-as-dakini; to remember her power, her boldness, her tender compassion and her playful intensity.
