Join Lama Justin for this day-long workshop on Rangjung Dorje's celebrated prayer known as the Aspiration of Mahāmudrā. This luminous text is one of the most beloved and essential expressions of the Mahāmudrā view in the Kagyü tradition, a profound aspiration, teaching, and direct pointing-out of the nature of mind. Whether you are new to Mahāmudrā or have an existing practice, this workshop offers an opportunity to go deeper into the meaning and experience of these timeless verses.

Rangjung Dorje, the Third Karmapa, was one of the most brilliant and realized masters of the Tibetan tradition. His writings synthesized Mahāmudrā and Dzogchen in ways that continue to reverberate through Vajrayana today. The Aspiration of Mahāmudrā brings to life in an essentialized manner the essence of the path, allowing one to explore spontaneous liberation of appearance through these verses of stunning clarity and depth.

In times like these, when our world feels increasingly unstable and the ground beneath our feet uncertain, aspiration practices like this are vitally important. They are a way of orienting the mind toward what is most true, most stable, and most awake and of dedicating that recognition toward the benefit of all beings. Lama Justin will guide participants through the text with teachings, practice, and group exploration, bringing these instructions alive in a supportive and dynamic container.

This event is also a fundraiser in support of Yangti's ongoing development of while working to keep teachings accessible and sustainable. We are grateful for your generosity and practice.

The day-long workshop will be recorded for participants who are unable to attend live.
